Privacy and security

No server of ours. Together-Pad sends your texts only over your messenger, to the members of the group. We never see your documents.
Encryption comes from the messenger. Signal always encrypts. With Matrix an encrypted group does; in an unencrypted one the server's operator can read along – Together-Pad tells you before. Together-Pad adds no encryption of its own.
Your copy stays on your Mac, in the app's protected area. So does the Spotlight index.
No other connections. Together-Pad connects only to your messenger.
Deleting removes everything Together-Pad has of a document on your Mac; Time Machine backups are outside the app.
